
Mr. Patrick Giles has over 35 years of experience in international corporate law and dispute resolution. He has specialized in advising investors and shareholders on the commencement, monitoring and cessation of corporate activity in Europe, the United Kingdom, USA and the Middle East, through events such as acquisition, merger, joint venture, distribution, reorganization, franchising, sale and liquidation. Mr. Giles has served on the board of directors of a number of companies in the United Kingdom, Europe and United States. Patrick Giles is Chairman of Rawlings Giles.

Mr. Bruno Van Haelst is mostly active in commercial and corporate law. He specializes in real estate structuring and advisory, construction law, as well as commercial- and corporate litigation. He has been involved in the restructuring of companies and gives assistance and advisory services in mergers & acquisitions. His clients are national and multinational companies, building contractors and investors, equity funds and individual investors.

Pierre Thielemans was awarded degrees in law and teaching law in 1982, and then went on to gain a further degree in Business Law (1995).
He started practice as a lawyer at the Brussels Bar in 1982 and joined Rawlings Giles in 2006.
Pierre’s areas of practice and expertise are corporate law – including (re)structuring, mergers & acquisitions and finance -, national and international contract law – including distribution and construction, and real estate. He assists clients in setting up or transferring factories and laboratories, notably in the biopharmaceutical industry.
He advises clients in their transactions and defends them in case of litigation. Pierre’s clients are national and multinational corporations, equity funds, and individual investors.
With 25 years of experience, he also teaches national and international contract law and is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences.

David Giles received his BA from Oxford University, his MA from King's College London, and his JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
He was formerly employed in the Corporate and Financial Services Department of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP in New York. He has wide experience in both transactional and dispute resolution matters.
He is a member of the New York Bar and is in process of qualifying as an English solicitor.

Alex T K Massouras received his BA from Cambridge University. He worked at Christie’s before completing his training contract at Shearman and Sterling LLP in London and New York.
He works for Rawlings Giles on a consultancy basis, and he is currently completing a PhD.
